Michael Kelly Blanchard with TBA opening
$18 (Stu/Sen $17, Mem $15, Child U12 $9) A special evening of story songs, pictures and dramatic sketches exploring how it once was to how it is now. Songs like Grandmother Sundays, The Drive-In, Snow Days, Marty, and Daddy Cut My Hair bring back the places we’ve been, the people we’ve loved, and the things we’ve done (whether we should have, or not). Paul Stookey says, “At last…the ‘largest love’ expressed…with both joy and tender concern. Michael…conjures up images of C.S.Lewis with a guitar…and a virtuoso at that!” With over ten albums to his credit and just returned from a national tour with his “Baby Boomer” show, Michael once again demonstrates that there is nothing better than a good story, told by a master storyteller. Come remember and renew with this seasoned singer for the heart!

His concerts are legendary: from coast-to-coast, country-to-country, one man, one guitar, rollin' and tumblin' like nobody's business.

Tanglewood Marionettes - Cinderella
$12 (Members $9) Set in the eighteenth century and featuring a dozen lavishly costumed 30” marionettes, this production of Cinderella is a Tanglewood Marionettes showpiece. The story unfolds as the pages of a giant book open to reveal each beautifully painted setting – the village square, the rustic kitchen, the magnificent ballroom, plus many more. All your favorite characters are here, from gentle Cinderella to the bumptious stepsisters and the charming Prince, and each marionette is manipulated with precision and grace by our talented puppeteers. Our telling is based on the original beloved tale, but we do offer a few new surprises: Cinderella’s method of conveyance to the ball is NOT the traditional horse-drawn coach, and, when all hope seems lost, a clever little bluebird saves the day for Cinderella. A classic fairy tale told with wit and style, Tanglewood Marionettes’ production of Cinderella is sure to please audiences of all ages.

Author James Graham Appearance for His Book 'Victura: The Kennedys, a Sailboat, and the Sea'
Join us as James W. Graham discusses his new book, 'Victura: The Kennedys, a Sailboat, and the Sea' In 'Victura', James W. Graham charts the progress of America’s signature twentieth-century family dynasty in a narrative both stunningly original and deeply gripping. This true tale of one small sailboat is an invaluable contribution to our understanding of the great story of the Kennedys. To truly understand the dynamics and magic of the Kennedy family, one must understand their passion for sailing and the sea. Many families sail together, but the Kennedys’ relationship with Victura, the 25-foot sloop purchased in 1932, stands apart. Throughout their brief lives, Joe Jr., Jack, and Bobby spent many hours racing Victura. Ted loved Victura as much as any of his siblings did and, with his own children and the children of his lost brothers as crew, he sailed into his old age: past the shoals of an ebbing career, and into his eventual role as the “Lion of the Senate.”

Some of the best jazz can be heard here any Tuesday night! Come watch or play!! "Our group starts with bass, drums, and piano. Ken & I (Ted) have been around longer than the other Jazz Jam musicians. We are probably not as "out of the box" (that's Michael's favorite term) as some of the younger musicians hosting the Jam, but we bring a wealth of jazz experience to the party." And, we love "out of the box" folks to jam with. Give us your freedom of expression; we give you a solid base of jazz experience. You draw us out; we draw you out! Our bassist, Ken Steiner, has extraordinary pizzicato technique. He has been gigging in the Boston area for the last 35 years in a variety of settings. In addition, Ken helps keep everyone on the same page. I hesitate to say he keeps us straight, but you'll know what I mean when you jump in." - Ted

Holly Prescott:

Holly Prescott began her real estate career in 1983, marketing and selling residential properties for the prestigious and award-winning master planned community, Las Colinas. In 1995 she decided to pursue a career in commercial real estate for Baker Commercial Real Estate and was nominated for Rookie of the Year by the Commercial Brokers of Dallas Association. In 1999, Holly was enticed to attend Keller Williams Realty signature training class, Quantum Leap Boot Camp. As a result, her passion for residential real estate was reborn, and Holly joined KW as the team leader for the Dallas Metro North market center in Flower Mound, Texas. She built that market center from 27 to over 200 agents.

In 2005, she had the opportunity to live out her life-long dream and move to Vail, Colorado, to open a Keller Williams market center which she then grew to 95 agents. In 2007, Jay Papasan, co-author of the Milllionaire Real Estate Agent, gave her a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the Millionaire Systems team leader at the Keller Williams Realty International office. With that new position, she traveled to every KW region and taught her favorite class, "Recruiting by the Book." Holly's passion to help other team leaders and agents through learning took over, and in 2008 she continued her travels serving as the KWRI Designated Trainer.

Holly is VERY excited now to be given the honor to serve as Team Leader for the award-winning Asheville Market Center in Asheville, NC. Her goal is to create a "world class" market center where agents have every opportunity to take their business to the highest level possible. She has discovered that assisting real estate agents build their business is truly her life's mission, and she looks forward to making that a reality in the beautiful mountains of NC. Holly is presently part of the KW master faculty, a MAPS coach, and has ownership in three KW offices in Texas and Colorado.

Mark Brine and his Folkabilly Bluezgrass
$18 (Stu/Sen $17, Mem $15, Child U12 $9) Mark Brine and his FOLKBILLY BLUEZGRASS. Mark Brine is an interesting artist. I would describe his music as very traditional in a Jimmie Rodgers style, in fact if Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams were cloned into one artist I would have to say that Brine is it! His music is clever and really hits that old timey Country bones a lot of us have that tend to stay hidden until we get a treat like this. Mark will be teaming up with some fine local Bluegrass musicians for this show - Doc Murdock on Dobro, Tim Roper on Fiddle, and Gary Richard on Bass.
